Hello, hi, how’s it going? The last month of summer is on the clock, so I wanted to update you on my writing happenings!

I had the privilege to edit two manuscripts this summer for first-time authors. I’m so proud of them because writing a book is about one of the hardest things you could do. Have you ever thought about writing a book but aren’t sure where to start? Let’s chat.

Bloom Book 2 is getting closer to the finish line and I can’t wait for the next installment to bless young girls! Book 2 focuses on friends and family and how God wants girls to grow in their relationships with their parents, siblings, friends, and other authority figures. Keep an eye out for more updates on Book 2!

Another big event was that I ended my contract work with the marketing firm that I’ve been with since April of 2017. I gained great experience working for a variety of clients, but God opened the door for another opportunity much closer to my heart. Which leads me to…

This month, I began working as a creative writing instructor for a local homeschool co-op. For those of you who don’t know, I am a homeschool graduate (yes, I made it to the other side!) and I’m profoundly grateful for all that homeschooling afforded me. Getting to work with another generation of homeschool students and share my passion for the written word just blesses my socks off. It’s going to be a great year!

Thanks for sticking around for all the updates! Now go have a great day!

Just be patient, she told herself, and with the mounting pages, the strength of her writing fist grew. – Markuz Zusak, The Book Thief
